As the Citys newest Code Compliance Officer I, you will actively support and uphold the Citys stated mission and values. You will participate, from initial intake of complaint to final resolution, in the full range of compliance and enforcement activities to ensure compliance with, for example: the Citys safe sidewalk, accumulation of litter, abandoned vehicle, and solid waste codes, and will be expected to handle difficult or sensitive situations including identification of code violations, notifying the property owner, and working with them toward compliance or abatement. You will provide assistance as required with enforcement of Title 10, Zoning Code, for such issues as proper location and size of sheds, fences, boats, trailers, RVs and vehicles on private property.
