Come join us!How you will enjoy your day:Perform Electrician duties within the general trade skill areas.Work Performed:Respond and attend to guest room repair requestsCommunicate with guests and staff to resolve maintenance issues with little to no supervisionTroubleshoot and perform basic repair on all types of equipment i.e., plumbing, electrical, mechanical, etc.Thorough clean-up of painting and/or repair areaUse of Lockout/Tagout system before preforming any maintenance workUse engineering computer programs related to maintenance workPerform light-level troubleshooting of resort Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) systemsMaintain shop areas, spare parts areas, storage areas and inventories of the materials, equipment and associated parts of the tradeCommunicate with engineering supervisor on projects as assignedRespond to all customer requests in a timely and professional mannerAdhere to quality expectations and standardsDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with others, support team to reach common goals, and respond appropriately to the concerns of the other employees and guestsOther duties as assignedMinimum Requirements :High school education or equivalent work experience. Average skills in two or more of the following categories and basic skills in the remaining categories: air conditioning and refrigeration, electrical, mechanical, plumbing, pneumatic/electronic systems and controls, carpentry and finish skills, kitchen equipment, vehicles, energy conservation, and/or general building management. Prefer some experience in hotel/motel, high rise building or construction. Must have strong organizational skills, excellent written and verbal communication skills and be able to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with ease. Computer skills required. Strong guest and team member relations skills. Must maintain current CPR and First Aid certification.
