We are currently seeking an exceptional Senior Project Manager to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. This is a permanent position where you will be working on exciting and challenging projects. The ideal candidate will have a successful track record of leading and executing complex engineering projects, particularly in construction and commercial sectors. This role requires a strategic thinker with a strong technical background and a passion for innovation. Your expertise in voltage-specific projects will be highly valued. As a senior member of our team, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our company.

Responsibilities:

As a Senior Project Manager, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Leading and managing complex engineering projects from inception to completion.
2. Developing and implementing project plans, risk assessments, and contingency plans.
3. Coordinating with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure project objectives are met on time and within budget.
4. Managing project resources effectively and efficiently.
5. Utilizing your expertise in voltage-specific projects to ensure the highest level of safety and quality.
6. Providing technical guidance and leadership to the project team.
7. Reviewing and approving project designs and specifications.
8. Regularly reporting on project status, issues, and progress to senior management.
9. Ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate should possess the following qualifications:

1. A minimum of 10 years of experience in a Director-level IC role, managing engineering projects, preferably in the construction and commercial sectors.
2. A Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. A Master's degree or a Project Management Professional (PMP) certification would be an added advantage.
3. At least 5 years of project management experience specifically on high-voltage transmission projects.
4. Proven experience with at least 8 years of voltage-specific projects.
5. At least 10 years managing Bulk Electric System transmission line construction projects at 115 kV or higher.
6. Demonstrated experience managing transmission construction projects with total construction values exceeding $75 million.
7. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
8. Proficiency in project management software and tools.
9. A keen eye for detail and a commitment to quality.
10. A strong understanding of industry regulations and standards.
